Our Stories is an exhibition devoted to documentary photography, which is often used to chronicle events or environments both significant and relevant to history and historical events as well as everyday life.

From photographs of an olive harvest in Palestine documenting a group of people at work on a land in conflict, to pictures of a Xhosa burial ritual in South Africa. Here we showcase a vast cross-section of topics to which the practice of documentary photography is being applied today.

OUR STORIES is a touring photographic exhibition created and supported by The Photographic Angle.

Please check website prior to attendance for latest information as dates may be subject to change.
Disabled visitors are advised to check with us before visiting an exhibition so that suitable access can be provided.

Didcot Concert Orchestra, 9th June 2019, 16:00 to 18:30 at Cornerstone, 25 Station Road, Didcot Oxfordshire, Station Road, Didcot (22.4 miles)
Didcot Concert Orchestra returns to Cornerstone for its fourth concert on Sunday 9 June at 4pm. The programme begins with Emil von Reznicek's effervescent Donna Diana Overture, followed by an unjustly neglected melodic miniature by Glazunov. Young rising star Leo Appel then joins us for Bruch's ever-popular First Violin Concerto. Henri Duparc was a very self-critical French composer who destroyed much of his orchestral output. His Danse Lente is one of only three surviving orchestral pieces, and it deserves to be heard much more frequently. Effervescence returns aplenty as the concert ends with the 17-year-old Bizet's tuneful and remarkably accomplished Symphony in C. More information and tickets at www.didcotconcertorchestra.org.uk.
